ABOUT THIS ISSUE

An insightful collection of conversations that discuss the debris, experimentation, tensions, and complications involved with making work. In the regular run of polished, content-churning press, artists rarely speak about the moments in and around the final realisation of their work. It is these experiences, considerations and ideas that we lay bare in our labour of love and relaunch edition.

ROYALTIES

In 2020 we embarked on a royalties model for paying our featured artists and our team - an approach that reflected our belief in bold experimentation. Our model means all contributors shared the financial reward. As of July 2022 this issue is free to download.

Future Fund 

Our vision is to be an invigorating and positive force in our community beyond Issue 31. With some funding in the kitty, we will be able to publish more editions of Unless You Will Journal and progress a few other ideas we have percolating.

Royalties are paid quarterly for 12 months, then all profits go to the Future Fund.

Cause

We will donate a percentage of our profits to Victorian Aboriginal Legal Aid and the Two-Spirited People of the First Nations to support the vital work both organisations are doing for Indigenous people in Australia and Canada.
